So what is the P90x Nutrition plan all about?

Well the team at BeachBody really want to make sure that they are able to deliver the amazing results that P90x boasts, so what they have done is come up with a  complete nutrition guide so that you won’t be eating junk food anymore. Sure P90X does work, but you are not going to get fantastic and amazing results unless you work with it to allow you to do so!

I mean if you have spent the time to commit yourself to a course such as P90X do not waste your time. What I mean by this is make sure you at least give yourself the decency to eat healthy food and follow through with the actual course like how it was intended to be used.

I don’t want to see any of you complaining that you’re not getting fantastic results then later on find out that it’s because you couldn’t be bothered following the healthy nutritional plan that they  have given you. If you do that, then you are not actually doing P90X properly now are you?

So why should you get the results that you’re looking for if you don’t put in the work?

In short, the P90X nutrition plan has 3 phases and they are as follows:

Phase 1: The Fat Shredder Process

This is probably one of the most painful parts of the process because it forces you to start with the lowest amount of calorie intake. This really the least pleasing aspect of the diet because let’s face it. We all love our junk food and being forced to eat something that starts with such a low amount of calories is kind of like torturing yourself. But you have to press on and do this diligently for the first four weeks. During this process you are not allowed any carb, well very little, and the focus is to make sure that your body gets plenty of protein to ensure that you are ready for the later stages of rapid muscle building.

Phase 2: The Energy Booster Process

During this process you’re allowed to mix in complex carbs into your diet. This sounds like good news right? Well the reason for this is because they are going to make sure that you get an even more intense and vigorous workout. So in essence they are preparing you for more of a gruelling task!

Users are only allowed to eat a selected type of carbs, and they mainly only consist of whole wheat bread, oatmeal and pasta. During this process, there is still an emphasis on taking protein for your body. This is because you will need it to repair all the damaged tissue from the training you are forcing your body through.

Generally speaking, you can stop at this phase and only continue to the third phase if you really want to develop rock hard abs and bulging biceps. Otherwise most users would have achieved their weight loss goals at the completion of this phase.

Phase 3: The Endurance Maximizer

This is where you are going to get more carbs to enable to you increase your workout intensity. So in other words, you get to eat more because it hurts a lot more! Instead of eating a lot of food, you are required to have many portions but at more frequent rates. Make sure you also drink plenty of water.
